I continue my long standing residency at the Homestead Restaurant Samford, during the month of August, performing Friday nights on the 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st. As a complement to the combined Indian and Italian Buffet, I will be adding some indian style improvisations to my usual mix of grooves, bossa novas, swing tunes and Jazz Ballads. These are really fun to play, based on time signatures that are not so common in Western music, such as ten beats, seven beats, or fifteen beats to the bar. So come along and enjoy the music and the buffet!
