Practice Track – E minor Pentatonic

Here is another practice track for beginning guitarists wanting to sharpen up their E minor pentatonic scale! It is a 16 bar pattern:

It is at a pretty slow pace, around 55bpm, so you can relax and concentrate on getting the right notes sounding good. In case you need a reminder, here is the E minor pentatonic scale in open position:

Acoustic Jazz

Electric jazz and funky grooves

I am also playing Zegatos at the Ashgrove Golf Club on Saturday nights starting Saturday 6th April. This month I will be presenting a new set of electric jazz and funky grooves! Phone Shane or Tony  on 3366 1842 for bookings and to confirm that there have been no late changes! Music starts at 6:30pm, and goes through till 9:30pm.

 

Dates for Term 2

I hope everyone is having a good holiday! Term 2 begins on Monday 15th April, and continues through to Saturday 22nd June. Students will have ten lessons this term, except that Monday students and Thursday students will have nine lessons due to public holidays (ANZAC Day and Queen’s Birthday).
